The Hong Kong Award for Young People(AYP) is committed to providing young people with a variety of Adventurous Journey Courses to encourage them to explore new experiences and challenge themselves. To celebrate the 65th anniversary of AYP next year, the Headquarters has launched the “Gold Level Hiking x Canoeing Adventurous Journey Training Course 2025/26” in June 2025, marking the first time that combining journey modes of hiking and canoeing. 24 Gold level participants will travel across the Greater Bay Area cities – Hong Kong and Shenzhen to complete their Assessment Journey after several months of hiking and canoeing training in Hong Kong.
Participants will undergo a Canoe Journey in Shenzhen waters on the first two days of Assessment Journey. Therefore, we are now recruiting “Journey Companion” – whether you are an Award Holder, a dedicated Instructor or Award Volunteer, we sincerely invite you to join this exciting Gold Level Challenge Journey that represents “the past, present and future with AYP”, creating a historic moment for the 65 th anniversary together! After the first day of Canoe Journey, there will be a Dinner Gathering for all “Journey Companion” to relive and share the unforgettable memories and moments with AYP.
