Project Manager – Youth Development

The Hong Kong Award for Young People (AYP), formerly known as The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award was established in 1961 as a local registered non-profit organization. AYP is committed to providing a non-formal education platform for young people to explore their full potential and make positive changes.

 

Through training camp service, we provide the youth development programmes by providing outdoor training and experiential learning for young people to challenge themselves, discover their hidden abilities and gain a special sense of satisfaction and achievement.

 

We are now looking for a passionate candidate to fill up the post of Project Manager – Youth Development.

 

Duties:

  • Organize career planning related activities for youth
  • Oversee and monitor designated projects & activities to achieve KPIs
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including funders, partners, schools and NOGs to ensure successful delivery and achieve KPI
  • Monitor project schedules and budget
  • Logistics support for programmes and events
  • Follow up with the projects from proposal to documentation and reporting
  • Support various functions for the projects such as meetings, events arrangement & publicity, trainings & seminars to facilitate smooth delivery of the projects
  • Design project rundown, questionnaires and evaluation forms in conjunction with internal and external parties
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • May be required to have shift and overnight duty

 

Recruitment:

  • Bachelor degree or above, holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social Science or graduate of relevant disciplines, or Registered Social Worker
  • Experience in career planning work or related youth services; at least 2 years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Previous experience in social enterprises, NGOs, government departments will be an advantage
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as a team
  • Eager to work with young people in a non-profit setting
  • 44 shift hours per week
  • Candidates may be required to work on Saturday, Sundays or Public Holidays
