Suspension of Award Centres

In view of the latest development of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the service of Kowloon and N.T. Award Centre will be temporarily suspended from 2/12/2020 until further notice. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.


The 99th Silver Award Presentation Attainment of Silver Award and Nomination for Certificate of Appreciation (3 years & 7 years of service)

Please be informed that the captioned event is tentatively scheduled in Q2 2021. Subject to the latest situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, the exact date will be announced in due course. You are invited to submit the notification of attainment forms of Silver Award of those qualified candidates to the Award Office.

At the same time, Certificate of Appreciation (for 3 years & 7 years of service) is now open for nomination. The two Certificates will be awarded to AYP volunteers with service for three /seven full years or more respectively in an Operating Authority, a Section Panel or any AYP bodies.

Kindly submit all attainment and nomination forms to the Award Operating Authority on or before 22 January 2021 (Friday). Please note that the nomination forms should be signed by OA Representative only. Any late submission will not be considered.

Dr. Irene Tang AYP International Exchange Programme Fund

With the great support from Dr. Irene Tang, the Dr. Irene Tang AYP International Exchange Programme Fund , was set up on 1 April 2018. The Fund aims at encouraging AYP participants and volunteers to take part in international exchange programmes, helping them in personal development, improving their interpersonal skills, leadership development and building a greater sensitivity and awareness of the global issues through participating in those international exchange programmes. Newly set up Students Affiliated Unit (SAU)

To help AYP participants to complete their Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards, the Students Affiliated Unit (SAU) was set up by the Award Operating Authority. SAU welcomes young people aged 14-24 to join AYP and take the challenge of Gold Award (the latest age for entry into the scheme is the 23rd birthday).

AYP gives young people a chance to constructively use your leisure time, to set and achieve personal goals and to learn about yourself and your community through experiential learning either in a group or in person. If you have interest, please do give us a call and to start your AYP journey.

*Gold Award in SAU is for School Operating Authority graduated students only.

Registration for Newly Joined Participants

Please be informed that starting from 1 July 2015, User Units are requested to register for their newly joined AYP participants, including Issuing Record Books to participants as well as submitting the registration form. Please refer to the attached circular for details.
