PR Section Annual Seminar 2019 –“Know more about AED” (11/5/2019)
Seminar on “Know more about AED” organized by the Physical Recreation Section Panel has been successfully held on 5th November 2019, Tuesday at The Hong Kong Girl Guides Association. It was our pleasure to have representative Choi Yim Ping, BC C-A&HB as guest speakers. The seminar attracted more than 50 Instructors and Assessors from different Operating Authorities.
I SEE HK Photo Camp (19-23/4/2019)
AYP, National Geographic and Brand HK have successfully held ‘I SEE HK Photo Camp’ on 19-23 April 2019. Professional National Geographic photographers from all over the world were invited to be the instructors. They taught in total 20 participants to record Hong Kong intangible cultural heritages with photos and represent Hong Kong in their own perspective.
Dr. Irene Tang AYP Hong Kong - Sri Lanka Exchange Project 2019 (18-24/4/2019)
Dr. Irene Tang AYP Hong Kong - Sri Lanka Exchange Project 2019 was successfully held from 18th to 24th April 2019 at Sinharaja Rainforest in Sri Lanka. 18 Hong Kong and Sri Lankan participants took part in a series of cultural activities to experience mutual traditions and established friendship.
Rogaine Charity Race Photo Exhibition and Forum Sharing Session (27-28/4/2019)
Rogaine Charity Race Photo Exhibition and Forum Sharing Session was successfully held during 27-28 April 2019. We were so grateful to have Mr. Stan TANG, Chairman of Stan Group , Mr. Elton NG, the youngest Hongkonger to conquer Seven Summits and Mr. Elvis MO, photographer for Rogaine, joined the event. We also appreciated the venue sponsorship given by Stan Group.
The 97th Silver Award Presentation (16/4/2019)
The 97th Silver Award Presentation has successfully held at Pooi To Middle School today. Our Guest of Honour Mr. Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, GBM, GBS, JP, Chief Secretary for Administration has presented silver awards to 313 young people accompanied by Mr. LO Yan-lai, Chairman of AYP. Mr. Lo has also presented The Certificated of Appreciation (3 years and 7 years of services) to 67 helpful volunteers. The Presentation ended in ardent applause of over 500 recipients and guests.
Visit to GFS HQ (12/4/2019)
The CRS Refreshment Training, Visit to Government Flying Service (GFS) was successfully held on 12th April, 2019 (Friday) by the Expedition Instructors Central Registration Unit. There were 22 instructors and assessors from different Operating Authorities participated in this training. They understood more about the daily operations of GFS and the search and rescue service provided.
AYP in ACTION’ (10/3/2019)
‘AYP in ACTION’ was successfully held on 10 March 2019. Despite the undesirable weather conditions, participants and volunteers made it through with strong team spirit! There are 20 teams with about 100 participants took part in the competition. Special thanks must be given to our Organizing Group from Award Network who supported the event.
Spring Reception 2019 (19/02/2019)
Spring Reception 2019 was successfully held at The Cityview on 19 February. We would like to express thanks for the supports of volunteers, Operating Authorities and Government Departments. We also had Lion Dance performance from Yuen Long Merchants Association Secondary School tonight. All of them were AYP participants.
Special thanks to Mr. Kevin Yeung Yun-hung, JP, Secretary for Education and Mr. Jack Chan Jick-chi, JP, Under Secretary for Home Affairs who shared the joy of Chinese New Year with us.
Rogaine Charity Race 2019 (27/01/2019)
Rogaine Charity Race 2019 organized by The Hong Kong Award for Young People and title sponsored by Stan Group was successfully held on 27 January 2019 (Sunday). Participants and volunteers made it through with steadfast dedication and strong team spirit! There are almost 250 teams with about 800 participants took part in the tournament. Special thanks must be given to our volunteers who supported the event.

The Hong Kong Award for Young People Charity Golf Day 2019 (07/01/2019)
The Hong Kong Award for Young People Charity Golf Day 2019 was successfully held at Hong Kong Golf Club (Fanling) on January 7, 2019. Total 40 golfers participated in the competition supporting local youth development at the same time. The fund raised will support young people aged 14-24 to participate in and complete the internationally recognized Award Scheme.
