Role of Operators

User Unit Leaders

Operating Authorities are licensed by AYP to carry out the Award Programme according to the Programme's objectives and the conditions of the Award. Responsibility for the operations of the Award is delegated from the Operating Authority to User Unit.

Every User Unit has one or more user unit leader leading the unit. Apart from the administrative duties, our user unit leaders will also be responsible for promoting AYP and organizing activities to fit the requirements of AYP , offering assistance to our participants to complete the Award Programme. For the duties of User Unit leaders, please refer to the Guide book.

Instructors/Assessors

Operating Authorities will appoint qualified or experienced adults as Instructors/Assessors.

Instructors/Assessors will meet the participant during the period of activity in order to discuss the progress of the activity and discuss expectations for the next phase of the activity plan. Participants will be assessed throughout the required period on effort, perseverance, and progress.
